Daniel A. Slaven
Dan Slaven has been intimately involved in International Business endeavors since 1988. He is fully versed in all aspects of moving goods between countries around the globe for over 30 years. After graduating from Marshall University with a dual degree in International Business and Marketing, Dan began his career working for numerous International Freight Forwarding companies in the Chicago area near O’Hare International Airport for six years. In 1994 Dan was selected to be the Branch Manager of a major International Freight Forwarder in Atlanta. After relocating Dan was successful in growing the branch to the number one office in the USA.
Moving forward to 2007 Dan was asked to open a new office in the Nashville, TN area to concentrate on the TPEB business growing rapidly in the area. After landing major accounts in the Tennessee market, Dan was able to reduce costs and help importers to grow their business by lowering landed costs and show more profits and growth than ever before. Compliance has always been the number one concern during growth periods for Dan and his extensive list of new customers. His extensive knowledge of International Laws and regulations has made him a key source of information for 25 years in the industry.
Dan’s new vision is to use his vast experience to assist companies across the globe in moving goods from point A to point B within the current regulations and laws of the countries involved. When not at Home Dan has traveled the world for both business and pleasure. He has traveled throughout the Americas, Around Europe and the UK as well as Australia.
